In Effects Controls Programmed Effects Not Previewing

PP 2019.  MacOS 10.12.6.  I have been editing without issues.  I have added zooms with the scale feature in the Effects Control window.  I was able to view those effects in the Effects Control window. Now I cannot.  The images show where I start and end but the zoom does not play when I move the playhead.  How do I fix this.  This bug just started.
