In Premiere Pro, Upscale then Denoise ... OR Denoise then Upscale ?
Hey all,
The clips are standard DV, 4:3 24p, 720x480. Going from that to 1080p.
Using regular PPro upscale and Neat Video.
The results so far are quite good. I've upscaled the clips and have been adding the denoiser (then a pinch of sharpen) because I think that the noise comes out more after you upscale and I can apply the denoiser as needed.
Is there a rule to go by?
Should I be denoising the clip in it's natural 4:3 frame first, then upscale? I thought I see more noise after upscaling, so I know how much desoiser to add.
Thought are appreciated.
Thank you,
Letty
