Incredibly laggy UI

There's always something....

 

Windows 11
Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-11900 @ 2.50GHz
Installed RAM 128 GB (128 GB usable)
RTX 3060, driver version: 528.24 Studio

Premiere Pro: 23.10 Build 86 (Tried the beta too)

 

The entire UI is incredibly sluggish and laggy, every scroll, the dB meter, the timeline scrolling, everything is ca. 4FPS at the moment, it's unbearable. It gets worse over time, I cannot restart PPro all the time.

 

Things I've tried:

 

- Resetting the preferences (Holding Alt at startup)

- Reinstalling Windows

- Reinstalling Premiere Pro

- Reinstalling After Effects

- Trashing the Cache

- Deactivating GPU decoding/encoding

- Reinstalling GPU Drivers

- Different GPU Drivers (an illustrious selection)

- Playing around with Windows 10 UI scaling

- Resetting Window Layouts etc

-

It worked just fine in CC21, but that has been deleted and the company moved on to CC23, I don't know what I was thinking...

I have the same problem. In later 22 and 23 versions everything is slower. Especially the new Export screen. Dropdowns never drop, every click needs at least fifteen seconds to execute. It`s a nightmare. Luckily I have 2021 version and I do all my new projects in it. If you can`t install 2021 version try early 2022 via Creative Cloud (other versions). Some version before Premiere UI import/export redesign.
