Input Contract Violation...??

Does anyone know what an "Input Contract Violation" is, or how to fix it?

I'm using PPro 2017.0.2 on a MacBook Pro and editing the same documentary project we've been working on for months. But suddenly today the project has started crashing every couple of minutes with an "Input Contract Violation" and a message like this.. [/Tanqueray/releases/2016.10/shared/adobe/MediaCore/Backend/Src/Sequence/TrackItemGroup.cpp-853]

It happens in the midst of pretty much anything, but it's guaranteed to happen every time I use the Blade tool. And at this point I literally can't make any progress on the edit before crashing again.

So what gives?

For anyone else experiencing this... I eventually managed to escape it by uninstalling the Neat Video plug-in.

It seems the update from Neat 4.0 to 4.5 didn't sit so well with my PP set-up. No idea why.
