Insert/Overwrite function no longer working in 24.5

I recently updated to Premiere Pro 24.5 and can no longer use my keyboard shortcuts to insert or overwrite into my timeline from my source monitor. Instead the action has no result. 

I am on macOS Sonoma 14.5.

    Are you trying to use the default keyboard shortcuts, or custom?

    I have the same problem. I'm using custom keyboard shortcuts. Any idea on how this can be fixed?
