Interpreted clip from 24fps to 23.976 displays properly in the project panel, but not in "properties

I have a clip that is 24fps and when I bring it into premiere and "interpret" it to 23.976 to match my sequence settings... the clip displays properly in the project panel, but if I select the clip and go to "properties" it says it's still 24fps...  And if I edit into a 23.976 fps timeline, and select the clip in the timeline and go to "properties" it says it's 24fps.  Is this a bug, or am I just having a senior moment...   working in Premiere 24.3.0.   It looks fine as far as I can tell in the timeline.  The is for a sample edit for a DP in which I have a variety of sources all with different flavors of approximately 24 fps..

Thanks as always.

Thanks Ann.  That's what I figured.  Just wanted to make sure this wasn't going to bite me down the road...
