I'm experincing a very odd audio problem and I don't know what to do. I am editing videos with interview audio that is captured off of a LAV mic. Working with it in Premiere pro using headphones the levels are fine. The problem occurs after export once anyone views the clips on mobile. The Interview audio is not heard at all when played back on mobile, however is audible once headphones are plugged in. I've had this problem earlier but thought it could occured since I had a low pass filter turned on on my recording device. However for these newer clips I turned the setting off and its still not audible.

Any ideas are welcome, I am totally perplexed.

There's a good chamce your audio is stereo but out of phase. If you add the 'fill right with left' effect to the faulty clips or track that should fix it. This error is caused by using a balanced mono microphone with an XLR plug into a 3.5mm unbalance stereo camera input using an incorrectly wired adaptor cable.
