Invalid Menu Operation Error in CS6

Recently, I've been seeing the little error indicator show up at the bottom-right corner of the Premiere screen after I import a file.  When I click on it, the error listed says, "Invalid Menu Operation".  I haven't noticed any negative effects from this, but I was wondering if anyone knows what it means.

Thanks.

I'm getting them in CC2015 every time I change workspaces. Also at other random times.

Far from getting better or even addressed, I too see this alert way more than before.

While it does not appear to be causing any problems it is none the less annoying, even more so given that it has been a recorded and reported (I have sent in at least two bug reports) since CS6!

My guess is it is also being under reported by users because it is not really affecting (so it seems) the program itself, if you know of any other users seeing this encourage them to report it here, otherwise Adobe will keep ignoring the few of us that have been saying anything.

Well waddayaknow!?

Yesterday updated all my Adobe "apps" and tentatively opened Pr Pro (not sure I like the new interface) and fully expected to see my old friend the "Invalid Menu Operation".

So now I'm torn between missing it and enjoying the fact that it is no longer popping up!

I know, there's no pleasing some people .

Thanks, for finally solving the conundrum of the "Invalid Menu Operation"

I get it too. Right hand corner, it's a drag. Also when I drag a clip on to the time line I only get the audio, no video. Plays fine in all the audition windows.I am not sure if it is format conversions or what? It just will not go onto the timeline as video and audio.

Updated (9.0.2(6)) today, hoping that this issue would have been resolved.

No such luck.

Ah well, maybe next time.

I to am getting them! Constantly. Anytime I double click on the project window to import media, anytime I use the window layout shortcuts (Assembly, Editing, Color, Effects, Audio.). pretty much anytime I use a shortcut or do something that is not the long way of doing it. I am on cc2015. It started when I did the upgrade. Now with that said it is not effecting the performance or usage of these functions. It still does it but its annoying.

OK Adobe. I'm getting the error as well. What's it mean? I'm using  version 6.0.3.

Yep me too. I even called Customer Support and set up a support ticket with a gentleman, who gave me a name like Gerald but clearly was very unlikely to have ever been called Gerald,  and told me to e-mail the details. Did so, then got a series of emails asking me to e-mail that the problem was fixed, to which I replied "Ummm. no". Then came the "Reply to my e-mail or I will terminate the ticket" threats. My replies were not responded to. Thanks Customer Service, nice job.

Still the "Invalid menu operation" persists -as soon as I click on "File"- (CS 6.0.3) with no apparent problem. BTW it seems to happen only when I first open a project and does not reappear after being cleared until I close and open a project, same one, new or old.

While not an apparent problem or even any sort of issue that Adobe cares about either.

Aren't you glad you spent all that money?

Typical Adobe. I've found another bug. When using AME (Adobe Media Encoder) the file size estimates don't refresh when changing parameters. Really a bad thing for us because we upload 4 to 6 videos to the web a week and file size is critical. Won't even trouble to report it. They just don't listen.

I get that error as well...I don't know what it means either, although it doesn't seem to be affecting my editing ability.
