Inverse linking? Delete one snippet caused another to show

Reaction Youtuber with copyright concerns in my vids.

I one out of two layers to play at a time. That is, if the audio layer is muted, a visual layer then plays. If the visual is off, the audio is on.

is there a way to link these two layer in such a way that they have an inverse relationship?

You will have to manually set this up, there is no way to do this automatically.

When audio needs to be muted, drag section to muted track.

When video is not to been shown, drag section to track with eyeball turned off.
