Is Audio connected from original footage through subclips?
I started with an mpg containing interviews with several people. For each person, I created subclips from the source monitor. From each of those "main" subclips, I made subclips of portions of the interviews. Then I really noticed how bad the background noise was (caused by a very loud air conditioner).
I know I can't "edit in Audition" from the source monitor (because, to this day, it doesn't doesn't show waveforms which would be great for many reasons ... grr) so I went to the main subclip for each interviewee and edited those audio tracks in Audition. Then I noticed the subclips made from those main subclips still has the original audio unchanged.
Is there no way to have a "ripple" effect or something ... if I change the audio in the original (or closest I can get) and it will also update the subclips? Do I really have to go into each of these and edit the audio or, worse, just re-create all those subclips after editing the audio in the main ones?
