Question

Is commercial sale of a plugin based on the Premiere SDK Transmitter Sample permitted?

Hello Adobe Premiere SDK Team,

I am an independent developer of a plugin called "VR Immersive Preview" for Adobe Premiere.

My plugin is based on modified code from the Transmitter Sample included in the Premiere SDK 26.0.

I previously contacted Adobe Developer Programs regarding the distribution of plugins based on the Transmitter Sample.

After consulting internally with the Premiere team, Adobe Developer Programs confirmed:

"Yes, you are allowed to distribute plugins based on the Transmitter Sample."

Thank you for this clarification.

However, I would like to confirm one additional point:

Is it permitted to commercially sell a plugin that incorporates modified code from the Premiere SDK 26.0 Transmitter Sample?

My plugin is currently sold as a standalone commercial product for USD $149 through a third-party platform, outside Adobe Marketplace.

I would like to ensure that this sales model complies with Adobe's SDK licensing terms.

Could you please confirm whether commercial sales are permitted and whether any additional licensing requirements or restrictions apply?

If possible, I would also appreciate a reference to the relevant SDK licensing terms.

Thank you for your assistance.
