Is it safe to sync audio with multicam source sequences using PROXIES

I'm making proxies in PrPro using ingest setting and I can sync the audio with timecode.

For now the easiest way to sync all the video files to the sound files seems like using the 'Multi-Camera Source Sequence' method.

I am just wondering if this is a safe method, i don't want to run into any issues when i'm going back to the original files for the export or colorgrading (which will happen in davinci). As far as I know, I think this will be okay since everything is happening inside PrPro, but I just wanted to double check. Anyone have any experience with this?
