Question

Is my computer too slow/old to run Premiere?

Hello all, I am hoping you can help me out. I want to preface this by saying I am not a computer person, so I know some of these questions might seem ridiculous, but I want to double-check before I bring my concerns up to my boss.

I have been trying to edit a video in Adobe Premiere Pro 2019 but the media keeps saying pending and it keeps freezing/crashing. It didn't even occur to me that it could be because of my computer as I don't usually work in this- I have a Lenovo Ideapad Intel Core i3-6100U CPU @ 2.30 GHz processor, 64 bit operating system and 6.00 GB of RAM. I know this doesn't exactly meet the system requirements that Adobe has put out for Premiere Pro, but I have been able to install and open the program, so I am wondering if there is anything I can do to make it work.

I am grateful for your help! Thank you!
