Is QuickTime showing 5.1 Audio track channel order incorrectly, or did the export screw up?

Hi folks - a festival organiser asked me for a compressed version of a short film but with the 5.1 audio intact (so not an online screener).

I exported using an AAC codec, and a target channel layout of L R C LFE Ls Rs

However, Quicktime shows channel order as C L R Ls Rs LFE:

It was unanswered, but I followed the suggestion of opening it up in Audition and it did indeed seem to import the order correctly.

So what gives? Am I safe to send on the film to the programmer, maybe with a note saying the QuickTime properties window is a lie?
