is there a way to change the default dropshadow settings when adding text using the "type tool"

figured I'd ask before submitting a feature request.    Would make my life easier...

I've just done a screen grab of the dropshadow settings I like, so it becomes a little simpler to mechanically make these adjustments and then tweak when necessary...

And when working on a project with many lower thirds, I set up one and then copy and paste it and change the text...

Thanks

just within the effects setting for text created with the type too which doesn't seem possible, but will try applying the dropshadow as an effect applied to the title clip in the timeline

Yup, that works.

Gotta say, the default settings for the dropshadow effect are much better than those if you've just used the type tool.

Thanks as always Ann.
