Is there a way to force PP to use MORE memory when exporting?

I use a macbook pro with 64gb and when I look at the Activity Monitor, I can PP only using 20GB of memory to export/render the video. In preferences, I have Memory set to the max 58GB and all the other programs on my computer shut down -- but it's still slow.

I have all this memory, how do I make PP use it?

Hi there,

Memory utilization is dependent on multiple factors like the type of effects applied, resolution of the media files & the number of tracks in the timeline. It will only utilize the memory when it's required. If you are experiencing performance issues, let us know the other system specs (CPU & GPU), the type of media files used & the effects applied. It will help us to diagnose the issue properly.
