Is there a way to get a project from my laptop?

My laptop gave me the blue screen of death the other day. I (foolishly) didnt save it to my harddrive. Is there any way I can get it on my PC?

If you can't restart the laptop and use the suggestion by John T Smith, you may be able to remove the hard drive and place it into an external enclosure, connect it to another computer, and copy the autosave file (if there is one).

The hard drive is shot. Do projects automatically upload to the cloud?

Nope, uploading to the cloud has been removed from the program, I am afraid all is lost.

Guessing, did not make a backup?

FAQ: When to use "Save A Copy," or "Save As," and when to simply use "Save"

Is your laptop completely dead, or was that just a 'blip' that caused your session to die?

If you can start your laptop look in the PPro 'autosave' folder to see if your project file is there

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
