guys i have figured out something, but it is only useful for changing the gain of an audio track
lets say we did have a clip and we cut it to make edits
and the clip was video 1, audio 1, and audio 2,
you realize in the middle of editing you realize one of the audio tracks is too loud
what you want to do is lock the track that is fine but not the one that is too loud
go to a clip, then if the effect controls isnt open go to it scroll down to Audio (track)
change the audio level, then right click on Volume and click save preset
edit your preset however you want, then in the effects tab, click on the Vari8 folder
(im not sure if it will be there for you because idk why my presets are called vari8)
select all the clips that need the audio adjustment, then drag your preset from Vari8 onto a clip that is selected
now you should have the audio changed for a layer on already cut clips.
this trick can be used for videos, you just dont need to lock any track and you just do the audio parts for video parts how you want
