Question

Is there a way to revert to the old/legacy "New Project" creation window?

Not to be anti-new but I find the new wizard UI actually gets in the way when I'm trying to start a project as it's hard to navigate to any location besides the default (Movies etc) places. It's supposed to be a help, make it easier to get started, but I find it a hinderance. I know that Photoshop has an option to revert to the 'legacy' new file feature. Normally I'd just create an empty project then use Import or drag and drop from File Explorer to import the footage.

Thanks

Averdahl is correct.

-Type a Name.

-Set Location.

-Make sure nothing is selected in the middle section or the options upper right. They are "sticky" so once deselected they stay so.

-Now click Create

Unfortunately we can't tab to Create ...

Everyone's mileage always varies ...

No, there is no way to revert to the old window.

But creating the project in the new window is easy and requires only three steps: Give it a name, set the project location and then just click on the Create button. Thats all there is.
