Is there any way to make the start of the selected clip the same as it was at the in point?

I am trying to control the length of clips at a level of 0.1 second or less to improve the rhythm of the video, but I am finding it difficult.
Personally, I use the program window to adjust micro time, but to adjust the length of the clip and the timing of the start of the clip, I either stretch it carefully in the timeline window, or I stretch the clip extra and adjust the in point out point in detail in the program window and use "extract" in the program window is then used to make fine adjustments by removing unwanted portions.
Basically, I want to see the entire image in the timeline window, so I use the program window method, but sometimes I think it takes too much time to stretch clips extra long and cut them with "extract".
So I would like to know if there is a way to make the process faster.Specifically, for example, is there any way to make the start of the selected clip the same as it was at the in point?

You can only edit video by the frame.Audio can be edited on a 1/40000 per second level when set to Audio Units.Unwanted portions of a clip can also be done with the ripple trim tool or short cuts like Q and W.

What exactly do you mean by "Specifically, for example, is there any way to make the start of the selected clip the same as it was at the in point?"
Do you mean that when the in-point of the selected clip in the sequence is different than the in-point of the source item of that clip in the source viewer then you want to update the in-point of the clip to the one of its source?
Usually the in points of both a clip and its source item are identical. Only if you have multiple clips with the same source in the sequence, I think the source item has the in and out from the last clip that has been manipulated.

If this is what you need, I just created a little sample tool with Automation Blocks for you , which sets the in-point of all selected clips to the in-point of their respective source item:

Attached is the xml file for that block code such that you can load it into the Automation Blocks trial version, for example.

But not sure if this is really what you want, since usually the two are identical anyway.
