To achieve functionality similar to "Replace with Precomp" in Premiere Pro, follow these steps:

Create a New Sequence

• Add the original clip to a new sequence. Ensure the sequence duration matches the clip.
• Make your desired changes within this sequence.

Replace the Original Clip

The quickest way to replace the original clip in your timeline with the new sequence is to:

1. Export the sequence.
2. In the Project panel, select the original clip and go to Clip > Replace Footage, then choose the exported sequence.

Retain Flexibility for Adjustments

If you want to keep the flexibility to continually adjust the sequence, follow this method:

1. In the Project panel, drag the new sequence onto an instance of the original clip in the timeline.
2. Hold Shift + Alt (Windows) or Shift + Option (Mac) as you drop the sequence. This will replace the clip while preserving the same in/out points.
3. Repeat this for each instance of the original clip in the timeline.

Identify Instances of the Clip

If you need to identify where the clip is used in the timeline:
