Is time remapping incompatible with simple effects?

I cant even get motion or position to move a time remapped clip SOMETIMES?
I'm working with proxies.

Add your effects to that nest.

OK, how do I nest please?

OK I found that

OK I did that. Changing the position or scale does nothing at all.

The numbers change, but the effect does NOT appear.
This is after resetting the time remap to 100%.

Or dpoing it VV, the same.

OK I had to start over with a new clip and ok.
