Issue with Red Giant Universe effects re sizing my clips / cropping to square 1x1 size

What am I doing wrong? I have a verticle clip in a 2160x3840 sequence but when I apply anything from the RG effects, it resizes the clip that the effect is applied to into a 1x1 square

Are there any other effects applied to the clip?

If so, try nesting and then apply the effect.
