Issue with Viewing Audio Waves

Suddenly, I can no longer view Audio Waves. I have tried everything:

1. Restarting Premiere
2. Deleting Audio Preview Folder from project file
3. Clearing Media Cache
4. Clicking the Wrench -> Show Audio Waveform and turning it on and off
5. Clicking Clip -> Generate Audio Waveform
6. Creating a new Sequence
 - This actually fixes it, but only for a few minutes - Then it out of nowhere breaks again.
7. Zooming way in to see if it's a corruption issues (it's not)
8. Creating a new Project
 - Same result as new sequence
9. Restarting my Macbook
10. Opening an AutoSave
11. Re-importing media sources
12. Adding new media sources such as sound effects doesn't work
13. Rendering in-app the entire sequence with audio renders on
14. Messing with project settings

Nothing has worked.

If you don't mind resetting your preferences to default. Might as well delete the cache at the same time. Hold down alt/option as you start PP, then choose from the dialog.
