Issues with Dynamic link using One Drive..

fwiw, I use dropbox to mirror premiere projects stored on my startup drive...  For the most part, it works great, but did have an issue a few weeks ago, where things were not synching properly.  Resolved itself after a few days...

This is because OneDrive was built for the use and needs of document files, and doesn't handle video files in "live" work well at. freaking. all. You can use it to transfer files between systems for remote work, but not, as you're finding, for actual use as if the files were local.

LucidLink can do this, with up to UHD files as long as your internect speeds stay above 200Mbps ... but I don't really recall the names of any other service that does well at this. L-L is a paid delivery service, but is freaking fast and amazing.

But LucidLink was built from the ground up to recognize video file structure, and to break the transport of the file into packets specifically delivered in the order and timing that a video post app would access the files if they were on a local drive.

OneDrive, WeTransfer, Dropbox ... don't. Ergo, limitations and problems.
