Issues with Transcription in Adobe Premiere Pro - Transcript Disappearing & Autoscrolling Bugs

Hi everyone,

 

I’ve been facing some frustrating bugs with the transcription feature in Adobe Premiere Pro. Occasionally, the transcript just disappears, forcing me to restart the program to get it back. Additionally, the autoscroll feature isn’t working correctly—it’s not syncing properly with the audio, making it difficult to follow along while editing.

 

Has anyone else experienced these issues? If so, have you found any solutions or workarounds? This has been a significant disruption to my workflow, and any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The version is 24.5.0 (I auto update my creative cloud so it's always the latest one) and yes it's a new project. I've edited multiple projects now but it has the same issue from time to time but will try what you suggest if I have the time.

This is not generally a problem, but I think there have been reports.

 

What version of PR are you using? Is this a new project started in your current version?

 

Some of these odd problems can be sorted by resetting. Resetting the Workspace and, if unsuccessful, Resetting Preferences, may be helpful. If you reset preferences without being prepared, you can lose customization. See this page to avoid those problems:
