Issues with viewing clips in the Source Monitor

I am working with long-length found footage, which I cut into smaller clips in a sequence.
After cutting, I order/categorize them into different folders, after which I need to assemble a new video from the small clips.
The problem starts when I view my individual clips in the Source Monitor.
As I understand, Premiere doesn't actually see them as individual clips; instead, it sees them as In and Out points inside my original long footage. It would be fine if it only played from In to Out, but if I let it play, it goes over the out point. Sometimes, when I come back to the same clip after viewing others, it starts where the playhead was left on the last viewing, which is outside of my selection. See image.
My question is: How can I view my clips in the exact way (length) that I cut them?"
