Question

Keyboard Shortcuts instead of Control Surfaces

I've been trying to find a simple way to make custom shortcuts to function in the place of buttons and knobs on a control surface, specifically to control the Lumetri Color Panel (reason being I want to develop a way to color correct faster weather or not I have a control surface in front of me). The existing keyboard shortcuts for these in Premiere are very limited and don't include the most common variables such as Exposure, Blacks, Whites, Saturation, etc.

I assume the only way to customize these would be to build a Premiere Pro Add on from the ground up, but was wondering if anyone knows of a workaround such as AutoHotKey or something that you can assign keystrokes to specific commands in Premiere that are not listed in the Keyboard Shortcuts Menu. I have basic programming knowledge (C# mostly), but want to see if there is an easier way to accomplish this before I take a deep plunge into learning the entire Premiere SDK.

Any ideas or thoughts are appreciated.
