Keyframes in Effect Controls not working properly.

Motion adjustments with keyframes stopped working. I can change the size on Program Monitor but it doesn't create a keyframe anymore. Yes the blue clock is toggled. I'm doing the same thing I've been doing for years and now it's not working. At some points when I change values directly in the Effect Controls panel, in the keyframes, for example if I resize, nothing happens. So frustrating.

Steps to replicate:

Add a clip to timeline.

Edit speed ramps in timeline using Show Clip Keyframes.

Adjust size of clip in Program monitor.

Toggle animation clock in Effect Controls panel.

-problems start to appear-

Most of the time, when I move the clip in Program monitor (it always created new keyframes) it doesn't add a keyframe nor chage the value in Effect Controls. Then when I try to change values in effect controls, it doesn't show in Program Monitor.

Fx isn't turned off. Tried Full Quality, 1/2 and 1/4. Deleted chache files. Of course close, restart and reopen.

Hi Carlos,

If you try the nested sequence again, make sure the nested timeline is the same size as the footage and not your timeline. When you bring it over to your timeline, you will be able reframe using the larger footage size.

If that doesn't work, try resetting the preferences:

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.

Lastly, try creating a new project and import the old one and see if that allows you to keyframe time remapping and scale/motion without nesting.

Hi, so just to be clear, what you suggest is that I create a nested
sequence (by default, it creates it the same size as the timeline), then I
open the nested sequence and change the sequence size there?

Or is there an option to create nested sequences the same size as the
source footage?

I mean, this would totally affect my workflow, it's more like a workaround
than a solution. Just imagine having to do this in a 50-minute project with
more than 100 nested sequences.

Resetting workspaces or preferences didn't help, and now I have to tune my
preferences and workspaces again. Thanks anyway.

Another non-related problem, but kind of related to this. Now I can't visit
this page, when I try by clicking the link on my email, it shows the page
for a second then Adobe automatically sends me to the home/login page. I
can log in on a different page, but I can't see this post/community. So
full of bugs everywhere. And I can't upload a video about everything that
happens, it's time-consuming.

Hello,

No it didn't help. It creates keyframes indeed but when you nest you lose all the oversized area of your footage, since it creates a nested clip with the exact size of your sequence. So it isn't usefull at all to my needs (reframing and moving the footage from one point to another, panning)
