Question

Keyframes on adjustment layer don't work?

I'm using version 23.5.0 of Premiere and I'm on Windows 10.

I'm using an adjustment layer to add some effects over a bunch of different video clips. I want these effects to fade away, so I set up some keyframes to have the opacity of the adjustment layer go from 100% to 0%. But the effects aren't fading away, the opacity seems to be staying at 100%. It's like I haven't even added any keyframes at all!

I'm not sure how to fix this, so any help would be appreciated!

Which effects?

Delete AL and do the effects again on a new AL.

Make sure that your sequence settings match the media properties.

Try unchecking Composite in linear color in the sequence settings.
If that doesn't work, please post screenshots of your sequence, media properties, and Effects Control Panel.

Then try pressing Enter to render the timeline and turn the red line above the timeline to green.
