KEYFRAMES: toggle range auto resizing / alternar redimensionamento automático de intervalo

alguém sabe para que serve essa função do gráfico de keyframes no premiere ? testei que ao desmarcar essa caixinha eu pude alterar os valores em cima e em baixo dela...isso cria algum efeito ?
