Label Colors Changing

Has anyone has this issue where you label clips colors and then over time some of them start reverting back to the standard blue? I'm working a documentary and have all my interviewees labeled specifcally and it seems inconsistent but a few of them have changed colors on their own while I'm editing.

This may be caused by the "Show Source Clip Name and Label" setting. When enabled, timeline clips reflect the label and name of the source clip in the Project panel.

To adjust this:

  • Click the wrench icon in the Timeline panel.
  • Toggle Show Source Clip Name and Label on or off.

    So let's say I've had it disabled this entire time and have been color labeling clips and now I'm running into this issue- are you saying that if I would have started with "Show Source Clip Name and Label" enabled and color labeled clips that that would solve this?

    Show Source clip will change the clip on the sequence to whatever the labe is on the clip in the bin. IF you work with that sequence after changing the setting.

     

    If "Show Source clip" is disabled, then whatever changes you make in a sequence will not affect the clip in the bin, nor will changes to the clip in the bin affect the sequence label color.
