Lag in picture after picture colored

I imported a file that is 175gb into premiere - it's a colorized version from company 3. Now the picture lags and sometimes will just go to black. How can I fix it? Is the memory of my computer or the program too low?

From CO3, that's a video file I'm assuming. What codec, framesize and framerate?

What are the complete computer specs, including hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, what capacity, and how full)?

If NVIDIA graphics, make sure to use a Studio Driver from NVIDIA (NOT the Game Driver), but not the latest version - it has issues with Premiere Pro.
