Laggy Playback After Mixing With Essential Sound Panel

Hello,

Everytime I use the essential sound panel for mixing, I have a hard time playing back my sequence afterwards. When I play my sequence it takes almost thirty seconds or so to actually play. I've experienced this issue on multiple systems. I have tried deleting cache files, uninstalling and reinstalling, watching on 1/4 resolution, changing the renderer, adjusting I/O buffer size and sample rate, rendering out my sequence etc. I also have lumetri color effects on all my clips.

Here are my specs (Again, I experience this issue on multiple computers😞

Sequence Settings: 1920 x 1080, 29.97DF, Preview files: QT, Apple pro res 422

Adobe Premiere Version: 13.1.3

MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017)

Processor: 3.1 GHz Intel Core i7

Memory: 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3

Graphics: Radeon Pro 560 4 GB

Intel HD Graphics 630 1536 MB

I am using a Sony Raid 0 drive, working with Canon C300 MXF files, Go Pro footage (files converted to apple pro res), and DJI footage (files converted to apple pro res)

My current workaround has been to export out a .wav file and drop that on my audio tracks and disable all my audio clips. But for obvious reasons, this is not the most efficient workflow.

Any help/tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Hi, Is your clip audio sample rate matching the sequence settings audio sample rate? That can help.

Thanks,
Kevin
