Laggy Timeline Header

Hello I have been editing for a while now and this problem will come and go and I just want to see if anyone has a fix for it. My video playback is very smooth but the actual header is very laggy and it is very annoying trying to make quick fast cuts. Thanks to anyone that can help 😄
