Latest Premiere Pro update has ruined captions

SOLUTION: I had this issue. Switched to an older version of 25.5 which fixed it.

Same issue here. I have a Mac Mini M4 Pro running 25.6.3 that has near perfect transcription for English. Bought a new M5 Macbook Pro last year and installed the same Premiere version, and the transcription is wildly inaccurate. Missing simple (and clearly spoken) words, punctuations all around, and lots of missing text when converted to captions. I tried clearing cache and installing older version on new Macbook Pro, making sure I use the same assets and same project file, still the same issue persists. I'm sticking to editing on the Mac Mini for now but it would be great to have the Macbook Pro for editing on the go, if only this issue is resolved.

Same issue on the MacBook M5, haven't had any issue on my M4, but as soon as I switched it go horrible.

I'm literally having de same issue wirh my M5 , When I worked in my M3 Pro I didn't have issues with that tool, but for now I've been transcripting in my Windows PC because if I do the Transcripcion in my MacBook M5, the result awful

Unfortunately, no solution seems to have been found. Let's hope we can find the source of the problem 🙂

Uninstalling this POS.

Mine won't even create the captions any more and it took ages to transcribe.

Come on Adobe. We are paying for this product.

Wow. So a sentence in the program monitor/sequence view of the transcript does not appear in the captions?

I am importing the clip into the timeline, then creating a transcript. After the transcript is in and edited to change mistakes and flow, that is when I then click the 'Create Captions' button on the top row of the Transcript window.

Are you transcribing and then creating captions? Or are you using the single-step option of creating the transcription and captions? The latter occurs when you put untranscribed clips in a sequence, and click "Create captions from transcript" in the Captions tab.

I just tested a known hour-long sample in 24.6.5, 25.6.2, and Beta 26.0.0.39, and compared the transcription from each. 

Testing Captions involves another step, so I'm wondering how you created your captions.
