Latest update causes audio problems

Hi everyone, I installed the latest update for Premiere Pro yesterday before leaving work.

This morning when trying to edit, all I can hear is white noise at 0db.

I can hear audio via iTunes fine, so it's not the audio card.

Currently rolling back to previous version to try and solve it.

Sysinfo in jpg attached.

Rolling back the update has fixed the issue. 25.2.3 Build 4 works fine.

Thank you Sumeet,

Yes, we're working with MTS files.

Also, as per Rob's reply above, I was woking on a previously constructed edit when this occured following the update.

Regards,

Hi Peter_Robins,

This issue has been fixed in the latest beta version of Premiere Pro & will be available in an upcoming release version soon. For the time being, if you want to try the latest beta, you can install it from Creative Cloud app. The beta version will be installed alongside the release version. If required, you may also use the latest beta version of Media Encoder to transcode the affected MTS media to ProRes & use it in the release version for your existing projects. Hope it helps. You may refer to this link to learn more about Creative Cloud Beta program.

Thanks,

Sumeet

Was this a previously built project or footage that you brought directly into the new build? Sometimes opening old projects in a new version has unexpected issues.

Hi Rob,

Yes, it was a file I began editing yesterday but finished today, thanks for that suggestion.

Hi Peter_Robins,

We're sorry to hear about this. Could you please confirm if you are working with MTS media? If so, we're aware of this issue & working on getting a fix out as soon as possible. For the time being, you may use Pr v25.2 as a workaround. Please let us know in case you are experiencing this with any other media type. We're here to help.

Thanks,

Sumeet
