Legacy Titles Not Updating in Premiere Pro 13.1.2

We upgraded a project previously created in CC2017 that had lots of titles built with the old title tool. Up until about a month ago, we could still edit those titles in the Legacy Titles editor. Today, when I tried to update the title, i was able to double-click on it in my sequence to open up the Legacy Title editor window, and I was able to make edits there; however, they didn't actually stick/save -- when I closed the Legacy Title editor window, the old version of the title was still there in my sequence.

Any ideas on how I can get the Legacy Title editor to work?

In the future, try not to do that. Editors' R.O.T. _001 — Never Update in the Middle of a Project

When a tool goes to the Legacy scrap pile, it's time to "rebuild" a project in the new tool if at all possible, when you have some down time. It's painful but you can avoid being blocked from working on projects that need "continual" updating and you can usually get an assistant for that kind of substitution. Those are the kinds of projects you need to take the most amount of care with, unfortunately.

Let us know if Bob's idea worked or not. If not, we'll try and help.
