Legitimate source for CS6

I will eventually move to the cloud based software, but I'm not ready just yet.

I purchased Production Premium CS5.5 a while ago from Adobe, started learning how to use it, and unexpected events pulled me off of my potential projects. Finally things are back on track, many years later, but I am not ready to move into the cloud based software at this time, though I plan to as things progress.

I wouldn't mind an upgrade to the CS6 version, but I want to make sure I would purchase from a legitimate source. I don't want to purchase bootleg software, and obviously I don't want to get scammed. Adobe stopped selling it in 2017. Are there legitimate sources for this software?

    There is no legitimate source for purchase of CS6.

    It's not cloud based.  You just need to connect to the internet at regular intervals to keep it actiovated.

    Interesting option, though I am not sure it's any better than CS5.5, and part of what I want is After Effects. (I watched an instructional video on the 3 parts, focusing mostly on the "expert" section. I would think of this had I not already owned the Production Premium suite.

    I think I will simply stick with CS5.5 until I am ready to upgrade.

    I would think of signing up for the CC, but don't want to get stuck in a subscription, or have to downgrade to CS5.5 from the current versions once I start getting used to them.

    (I have reasons for this that I won't go into.)

    Yes, I misstated, not really cloud based, but backed (and secured) by the cloud.

    I did run into a person on eBay that lists themselves as a certified reseller, though I would want to check that out. But the price would be equal to 13 months of CC, (at the current discount,) and if things go the way I want them to I will be using CC by then. (And I could swear the upgrade was much less, though what I found was Master collection, not Production Premium.)

    If he is a certified reseller, he is violating his agreement with Adobe by offering CS6 for sale.
