Linking Media with the Media Browser no longer searches a specified folder

When re-linking media in the Media Browser, in the past I would navigate to the specific folder (ie. "Shoots"), click Search, and Media Browser would only search within that specified file path and any subfolders.

Since the newest update the Media Browser will search every single folder on my comptuer, beginning with C: and completely ignore the folder I've just navigated to. Is there a setting that was switched off with the new update? How can I get it back to searching only my targeted folders?
