Loading Seq to source monitor.

Hi,

I am loading Seq's to my source monitor using Open in source monitor.  On occation when I load the Seq the monitor is blank.  My seq has captions on it as well.  In order to see the video and audio in the source monitor I have to laod the seq on the timeline and then turn an eyball on and off to be able to see my seq in the source monitor.  This is a work around that I would like to avoid if possible. FYI all eyballs are turned on when I am doing this.

Addionally, I have a bin with a magnifying glass right on the bin that prevents me from adding additioanl clips to that bin.  How do you turn off the magnifying glass so I can add more clips to that bin.  It's like the bin is locked.

Any help with these two issues would be very helpful.

Thanks.

The little folder with the magnifying glass is a search results folder. If you enter something in the Search bar, PR automatically filters and shows you what is included. To the right of the search bar, there is a little folder with a magnifying glass. If you click this, it creates a search results folder. These are not independent items, and you cannot import items to that folder. However, if you import an item that matches the search it will a) import the item outside of that folder and b) add it to the folder of matching search items.

@Elie101,

A screenshot might help. There are related reports, for example, situations where the captions disappear or the screen goes black, that is helped by toggling the eyeball. I have not been able to replicate.

Also, what OS and specific version of PR?

Hi Stan,

Thnak you for getting back to me.  As you requested I am attaching both images. Hopefully that will provide you with more insight to my problem.

Elie,

I get your results if the sequence has captions. Still exploring, but my first thought is that this is a bug.

A sequence with a clip that has a Source Media transcript shows correctly, but not if captions have been created.
