Long Export Times - Multicam dysfunction - Dynamic Link - Audio Issues (AE) in v. 22

Why does adobe keep releasing versions that are currently not ready for professional use?  I was handed a project using premiere and after effects 2022 and it may be the most infuriating  update yet.

Exporting and rendering take forever, dynamic link is wonky, multicam doesn't work, and there is no audio in after effects.  There are more things I can list but these are the major concerns I have and something that should have taken me minutes to do has taken me hours now. I don't understand why these simple functions that have worked in previous versions always get messed up when they put out the new version.

Hi Brett S,

Sorry for the frustration. We'd need to know more info about your setup and media.

If the project was created in v.22.0, which is a major new version, be sure to close all projects and delete any media cache from Preferences > Media Cache. You can also trash preferences, as that can help with these projects.

Updating to v. 22.1.1 might also help with some of those dynamic link and performance issues.

Getting handed a project from a version that you have not fully tested yet can try one's patience, but I assure you that most of us are up and running with few issues. We can help you solve most of these issues if we could get a few more details. Can you give us a bit more to go on? Much appreciated.

Thanks,
Kevin
