Looking to Quickly Transfer a Feature's Worth of Video

Hi all! I've edited down a cut on a feature, and am looking to send the source videos to the color corrector who lives in another state. Due to budget restrictions I have to transfer the needed files onto a separate hard drive. Rather than individually revealing the files I need in finder, is there a fast way to find them all so that transferring won't take the better part of a week? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

There's always File/Project Manager. You can have that copy or transcode to a different location all the files in a project.

Colorists typically want all the files used, but not the extra 30 gigs of extraneous material you didn't. How "clean" an editor works is noted by colorists. Learning to deliver what the next person in the chain needs for best & most efficient workflow is part of learning the job. Knowing how Resolve or Nucoda or Vegas or whatnot works with PrPro project files & XML, AAF, or EDL files ... how to set up a flattened file for them to check their conform against ... all that sort of thing.

Knowing exactly what is useful for you colorist can save both of you hours of work. I'd suggest having a long call or email chain of very direct questions and communication.

Are your back up source files already on a HD.
