Loss of Scroll (roll)

The newest version 25.1.0 removed the scroll (roll) feature. Bad move. How do I get it brought back?

Yes, I know I can use keyframe positioning for vertical scrolling text, but that is tedious multiple steps I could be avoiding with the simple roll feature.

It's there, just not ... obvious.

I think if you select the graphic, go to the Properties panel, and click in the text layer stack but just below the lowest entry there, you get the scroll option visible.
