Lost composition

The composition I'm working on in Premiere has disappeared after I clicked save.

The file name is correct and there is no duplicate or new file with the comp elsewhere.

Opening up the file reveals a blank composition, and after looking to recover the comp from the AutoSave folder, the last file was from 2 days ago.

Luckily, I had rendered out a version of the visuals last night, so I'm able to start a new comp with this, but I was wondering is there anyway to revert the saved file back to the pre-save when the comp was alive and well...

Hi calumg96473177,

Sorry for the trouble. Are you using an After Effects composition in Premiere Pro project? Please elaborate the workflow you are following.

As you have already tried with Auto-save files, there is no other way to recover the project. Please check the exact location of Auto-save files again & check if there are any other latest Auto-save files.
