Lost porject bin (cannot get it with reset)

Never seen this problem before but I lost the project bin. So, on a new project I can drag something to the timeline but if I right-click and select 'reveal in project', I get an error that says 'Matrix cannot be inverted'. 

If I scroll to Windows > Projects > name of the project --- I get same Mtrix error. 

If I got to Windows > Workspaces > Reset to Save Layout --- I get same Matrix error and it reset to basic layout but bottom panel starts with Media Browser (not the project). 

can anyone help?
