Question

Lumetri Adjustments not Exporting to Media Encoder when uing QUEUE

All the Luts applied and Adjustments I make to a Sequence in Lumetri are not being exported to Media Encoder.

However, if I use Export rather than Queue, thereby bypassing the Encoder, it works fine - but then I'm stuck waiting.

Any ideas?

It sounds like you've added LUTs to the program/package file locations ... as this would be totally expected if you did so. Do not ever add LUTs into those locations for two reasons ...

  1. Each app assumes that it has the same list of LUTs in those folders within the app ... and is designed to reference them by "relative" means, in other words, "4th one down" rather than by name.
  2. NO app looks in another app's folder for LUTs.

So ... they have a published chart of where to store your own LUTs so they are seen by both the Basic tab and Creative tab across all apps, Premiere Pro, MediaEncoder, AfterEffects and Prelude. Which I include here.

Note ... for some reason, they make most of that folder-tree, but they don't make the Technical nor Creative folders at the end of it ... so you make those two folders in that location, then park your LUTs there.

After doing so, they will show in the drop-down lists of the appropriate 'tab' Basic or Creative, in typical computer-ese alphanumeric sort order. And in all four apps.

I made desktop shortcuts to both folders, And I add a prefix system to all my LUTs. First a number for top-level sort order, second a letter for subfoldering. As in:

01 A Low-sat Neut w Mask

06 D Jones 2020 04 Night time

And on ...
