Question

lumetri not working at all after cc19 + Windows10 new install

After using cc18 on W7 pro with no problems, I finally moved over to Windows 10 pro 64 bit and did a full clean install of both that and premiere -  Version 13.02 build 38.  Now lumetri effects do not work at all!!  The scopes still work but not a single applied effect makes any visible difference to the image

Has anyone else found problems with this? And a solution?

Nvidia gtx 980 gpu, i7 quad core.   Only 12Gb ram at present - about to increase-  but always worked fine for HD before. Not using 4K

Any suggestions appreciated - as Lumetri is a rather essential element!!

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the suggestions - I tried them all except updating video drivers but nothing made any difference!  yes - it plays HD footage perfectly apart from Lumetri

The red " needs rendering" bar shows when a lumetri effect is applied - but still does not display the colour effect in either the programme display panel or on the main hdmi second monitor output -and rendering makes no difference - effects are still not displayed.

I would think that even if the gpu card drivers were wrong it should still show the effect on the programme monitor window?

Will try to update drivers in the morning

Thanks again

Make sure you're looking at the selected clip.  I have on more than one occasion absentmindedly tried adjusting one clip while looking at another.

It doesn't work.

How about making sure the global fx mute button in the program window is turned off. Happened to me once or twice.

Try resetting the preferences:

FAQ: How to reset preferences in Premiere Pro?

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:

Reset a workspace

Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
    • Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.

from here:

https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/workspaces.html

If that doesn’t work ,try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site.

Does the new build work on HD footage.
