Lumetri randomly applying color correction on outputted clips.

Hi All,

On my timeline, all clips have color applied. When i go to output, the final video has color applied on most, but not all clips. WTH!

First, i sent a queue of 4 timelines through AME and two of the videos had no color correction. Thinking it was a AME problem, i switched to direct output from Premiere. On the last project, several random shots did not have Lumetri correction applied. What's going on? It looks perfect in the timeline.

Please help!!

Using the latest Premiere and a 2013 6-Core MacPro garbage can with AMD FirePro D700. Clips are using Sony SGamut3CineLog3 to LC-709TypeA.

I don't recall if that is an included LUT ... is it?

If not, where are you using it from (folder location) on your computer? As it sounds like what happens when users add LUTs to the program/package files folders.

Which is a Bad Thing.

Yes, I added it to the program. Until today, that's never been a problem. It's a massive annoyance to have to select a LUT from outside the program for every darn clip.

They published the info on how to set this up properly a couple years back ... and it works just as easily as when they were put in the program/package folders except it just WORKS.

You have a couple options for each Mac/PC as to whether they are available period on the computer or only for specific users. You do create the Creative and Technical folders that appear at the end of the the following chart folder-trees.

LUTs placed in those folders will be seen in the appropriate drop-down list within Premiere, Basic or Creative, in computer alpha-numeric order. So I add a prefix such as a number or letter to my own LUTs so they show up first. I'm just rarely ever interested in any of the included ones.

I also have a desktop icon/shortcut to those folders so I can access them quickly for adding/removing LUTs/Looks.

And another huge thing ... this one storage place works for all three apps, Premiere, MediaEncoder, and AfterEffects. You would need to put them in the package/program folders for each app you wanted to use them in, and if they weren't in the same spot in the folder, you'd get something else.

Their system works, it works for all three apps which the program/package file location doesn't.
