Lumetri Scopes not responding to Curves Premiere

For some reason, the lumetri scopes waveforms are not responding when I adjust the curves. So I can't color correct. I have done all the updates, cleared the cache, and reset the workspace. Nothing has worked.

Please help!

    make sure the clip you are working on is selected on the timeline.. it should be highlighted if so
